Liza is now home and resting and we are all thankful. As expected after surgery, she remains in a lot of pain. And we are hoping she will recovery quickly.
The surgery did consist of a double mastectomy with all the lymph nodes removed from the side with cancer (because one tested during surgery was positive). Dr. Parker said he felt like he had “cleaned her out”. We are now waiting for the pathology results on Monday. Wait and see is the worst part.
Thank you all for your continued prayer, thoughts, support and caring.

Sending warmest wishes for a speedy recovery and lots of positive thoughts for a good prognosis, Liza. We are all rooting for you!!
